Zenless Zone Zero announced for Steam, so you don’t have to deal with a separate launcher anymore

Zenless Zone Zero is finally heading to Steam, which should be welcome news for PC players. Until now, the game has required a separate launcher, HoYoPlay, which users may find annoying to deal with. With the Steam version on the way, you’ll soon be able to install, update, and launch the game directly from your existing library, just like any other Steam title.
The official announcement confirms that the Steam store page is live, and now available to wishlist. The upcoming version will support servers in America, Europe, Asia, and TW/HK/MO (Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau) regions. Alongside this, a wishlist milestone event is also live, letting players unlock rewards like 60 Polychromes, 6,666 Dennies, and more.
The developers have opened sign-ups for something called Steam Advance Testing. This is basically an early access test phase designed to improve the game before its full release on Steam. If selected, players will get to try the Steam version early and help the team polish performance, stability, and overall experience.

The test will run on PC through Steam and will use the same servers and content as the main version of the game. That means your progress will carry over, as long as you log in with the same account. Cross-platform sync is supported, so your data stays shared between Steam and other platforms.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind. This is still a test build, so it may include bugs, performance issues, or other technical problems. The developers are asking players to share feedback and report issues so they can fix them before the full launch.
To join, players need to fill out a sign-up form before May 5, 2026. However, not everyone will get access as the spots are limited. As a bonus, players who take part and log in for at least five days during the test will receive rewards like 60 Polychromes and 30,000 Dennies.
