We’re incredibly close to the next Made by Google event, officially taking place on August 12, 2026 – according to media invites sent out about a month prior. The event is set to introduce “the next generation of Pixel” hardware, so you can fully expect the Google Pixel 11 series to make an appearance, alongside the likes of the Google Pixel Watch 5.

With the launch ticking ever closer, we’ve put together everything we know so far about the Google Pixel 11 series, including its release date, specs, and pricing details. Nothing has been made official just yet – Google hasn’t even announced the new smartphones yet, but there has been a good amount of leaks, rumors, and speculation to work with so far.

Google Pixel 11 launch & expected release date

The first thing to mention is that an official release date has yet to be revealed. We can at least say that the smartphone series will be launched on August 12, 2026, during Made by Google. Pre-orders for the Pixel 11 series are expected to kick off during the event. Well-known (and often reliable) leaker billbil-kun has reported that wide availability will take place on August 20, exactly one year after the Pixel 10 was released, and just over a week after this year’s launch.

Made by Google is happening one week earlier than last year and is due to start at 6 PM Eastern Time, taking place in New York City for the second year running. Last year was a star-studded event, hosted by Jimmy Fallon with a rather eclectic group of guests including NBA star Steph Curry, F1 driver Lando Norris, and The Jonas Brothers. It’s hard to know what to expect this year.

Google Pixel 11 expected specs and design leaks

There have been some developments surrounding the hardware and design of Google Pixel 11. Nothing quite as telling as the Pixel Watch 5 found on a scuba dive earlier this year, but still, leaked renders give us an idea of what it looks like. As far as the specifications go, very little has been confirmed. The base model’s dimensions are said to be 152.8 x 72 x 8.5mm – essentially the same as the Pixel 10, but a fraction slimmer, as the last-gen model is 8.6mm deep.

A possible leak on Geekbench suggests Google will be using a 7-core chipset, rumored to be the Tensor G6 processor, a natural upgrade to last year’s G5. Reports say the Samsung modem is also being switched out for a MediaTek M90, which should improve energy efficiency and network performance. Rumors of a memory downgrade due to shortages have also surfaced.

Google Pixel 11 price leaks

Leaked information posted online around the time Google started sending its Made by Google events suggests the Pixel 11 series will launch with a price hike, increasing by €100 for the top two (Pro XL and Pro Fold) models. On top of that, the expected removal of the 128GB Pixel 11 naturally raises the baseline price, albeit with some price tweaks for some regions.

For example, the 256GB Pixel 10 launched for £899 in the UK, but leaks say the 256GB Pixel 11 will be a little cheaper at £879. In contrast, the Pixel 10 Pro XL started at £1,199, and the cheapest Pixel 11 Pro XL is slated to cost £1,279 (both 256GB models). We’re yet to see pricing details for the United States and Canada, but expect to see similar increases.

Will you be able to pre-order the Pixel 11 series?

Google typically allows customers to pre-order its new smartphones ahead of the release date, and we expect the Pixel 11 series to be no different. As mentioned before, pre-orders are currently expected to go live during (or shortly after) the Made by Google event on August 12 at 6 PM Eastern Time.

While nothing is confirmed just yet, we’ve seen pre-order bonuses and promotions available with prior generations of Google Pixel phones. This typically means bundles with Google’s Pixel Buds (earbuds). For example, with the Pixel 10a launched earlier this year, Google was bundling a free set of its Pixel Buds 2a with purchase – or you could get a $100 gift card.
