There are plenty of game launches to think about now that we’ve made it to December – with Infinity Nikki launching alongside Delta Force (the games probably couldn’t be more different if they tried). Regardless, labeled a ‘Genshin Impact killer’ by some reviewers, Infinity Nikki is available on multiple platforms, including PC. And if you’re looking to optimize the game on your system with the best graphics settings, you’re in the right place.

We’ve put together all the best settings for the game across 4K, 1440p, and 1080p resolutions. Luckily, the game isn’t too difficult to run and anyone with a relatively new gaming PC should have no problems. However, for low-end systems, you might want to do some optimization. That’s where our guide comes in, so let’s jump straight in.

How we picked the best graphics settings

We took to our testing lab and installed Infinity Nikki on one of our rigs, playing around with settings to see what affected the framerate the most and generally benchmarked the game to see how well it held up. Don’t worry if you don’t have hardware similar to ours above; our RTX 3090 system was more than good enough, even for 4K at the ultra preset.

✓ What we used to test
  • Motherboard: ASUS ProArt X670E-CREATOR WIFI
  • CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
  • GPU: MSI Gaming X Trio RTX 3090
  • RAM: Corsair Dominator Titanium RGB (64GB, 6600MT/s, CL32)
  • CPU Cooler: ROG RYUJIN III 360
  • PSU: 1000W

Best graphics settings for 4K on our system

Given the high-end specs fitted in our system, we decided to bump up the settings to the max. You can use the ‘Ultra’ preset to do so, but you can do some extra tinkering by opting for a Custom preset, which we did. With these settings, we were able to enjoy solid performance, averaging between 80-100 FPS at 4K ultra settings with ray tracing on.

So, if you have a system similar to ours, there is no problem running the game at 4K. The 7800X3D paired with the RTX 3090 can be described as overkill for the game, but it’s a solid combo for pretty much any modern game and also unlocked the potential for ray tracing. Interestingly enough though, when we turned ray tracing off (followed by a game restart), we didn’t actually experience much difference in performance at all – however, this will likely differ depending on your graphics card.

Best graphics settings for 1440p and 1080p

Whether you’re playing on a system targeted at 1440p or 1080p, there are plenty of settings to play around with to achieve a playable frame rate. If possible, we recommend sticking to DLSS or FSR if possible – if not, dynamic resolution is available. Likewise, turning off ray tracing should make a considerable difference on lower-end or older GPUs.

Infinity Nikki system requirements

Looking at the Infinity Nikki system requirements, it’s safe to say that it isn’t the most demanding game in the world, though it does require a semi-decent PC considering it’s also a mobile game. In any case, it’s no Stalker 2 and you should be able to get by on a large amount of hardware. For example, the minimum requirement GPU is a GTX 1060, though the minimum of 16GB RAM is a notable spec considering many low-end PCs may still be using 8 GB.

How to optimize Infinity Nikki for max FPS

Outside of the graphics settings in the game itself, there are a few more things you can do to ensure you have the best FPS possible. This is especially relevant if you are working with a low-end system, or even want to record some gameplay while enjoying smooth performance despite the extra demand of video capture and/or live streaming.

  • Update your graphics drivers to the latest version: We always recommend running on the latest graphics drivers. This is especially the case when a game has only recently been launched, as driver updates can act like hotfixes to early performance or compatibility issues. Whether you’re using a NvidiaAMD, or Intel graphics card, make sure you’re fully updated to prevent any possible issues.
  • Close down other intensive programs: If you want Infinity Nikki to run as smoothly as possible, close down any external software that may be intensive on your system. This can include web browsers or even unrelated game launchers such as Steam or Ubisoft Connect. Considering the game asks for 16GB of RAM as a minimum requirement, it’s safe to say it is relatively memory-intensive.
  • Benchmark the game yourself: Not every gaming PC is the same, so our best settings may not include optimizations that work better with your system – if you have an AMD or Intel GPU for example. You may want to check out benchmark or monitoring tools such as MSI Afterburner, AMD Adrenalin, or CapFrameX to figure out any issues or bottlenecks.

Final word

Now you’ve made it through our graphics settings guide, you hopefully have Infinity Nikki up and running with smooth performance. Considering the system requirements, we expect many people to run the game without too many issues.
