2

Get CGNAT disabled

Some of you might not know this, but ISPs use a variant of NAT called CGNAT. This allows several people to use a single public IP address. However, this can often cause different issues in online games, including Black Ops 6. So, in this case, the only way to fix the issue is by contacting your ISP and asking them to disable CGNAT for you.

Also, make sure to enable UPnP on your router if it’s not enabled already. This can be enabled through the Advanced Network settings of your router, or you can ask your ISP to do it for you.

Step

3

Power cycle your device

Power cycling is a great way of getting rid of temporary bugs or glitches that may be causing the ‘Waiting for relay’ error in Black Ops 6. According to a user on Reddit, they were able to fix the error after they performed this trick, and it will hopefully work for you as well.

  • Turn of your PC, Xbox, or PlayStation.
  • Remove its power cables.
  • Wait for five minutes.
  • Plug everything back in and turn on the device.

Step

4

Reinstall the game

If nothing seems to work, then there may be something wrong with the game files. In such a case, your only option is to delete the game and install it again.

We understand that it can be frustrating for some people to download a game with such a massive file size all over again, but it’s the only way to fix the error if the above mentioned methods didn’t work for you.
