What’s new about the Meta Quest 3?
The Meta Quest 3 is a next-generation, hands-on, mixed-reality VR headset which promises a range of features setting it apart from its predecessor, the Meta Quest 2 / Oculus Quest 2. Upgrades include pancake lenses and super high-fidelity color passthrough, with increased accuracy in the sensors and touch plus controllers. A high refresh rate of 120Hz assures high-speed gaming in what is shaping up to be a seriously high-tech piece of kit.
Cameras on the outside enable mixed-reality experiences, with games set to incorporate elements of the outside world alongside a high-res display boosted by 2,064 by 2,208 pixels per eye.
