What we like about this ABS Kaze Aqua gaming PC
RTX 5080 is a powerhouse for gaming, and more
With 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and exclusive features like MFG, the RTX 5080 is an absolute unit for QHD and 4K gaming, but it’s also exceptional for demanding creative work, too. While this PC is designed more for gaming, if you are looking for something that’ll handle heavy workflows in apps like Blender and Premiere Pro, this is going to be an excellent choice for you.
Ryzen 7 9800X3D is still one of the best gaming CPUs on the market
Even with more recent releases, this processor still remains one oft he go-to options for high-end 50-series graphics cards, and it’s one of the top picks for the RTX 5080 for gaming. While it has a relatively modest core and thread count, the big win here is its 5.2Ghz boost clock speed, coupled with its massive 96MB L3 cache, made possible by AMD’s unique 3D V-cache technology. What’s more, this CPU also has improved thermals over the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, which boosts performance and makes it more stable, too.
It doesn’t skimp on RAM or storage
You’ve got 32GB of DDR5, which is going to dramatically reduce micro-stuttering and allow you to handle heavy productivity and multitasking easily. Its storage is also more than ample, especially as most large AAA games can come in at around 100GB, making a 1TB SSD increasingly ill-equipped for even average-sized gaming libraries.
Powerful PSU and cooler, with an excellent motherboard
You’ve got a Gamdias HELIOS P2-1000G 1000W 80 Plus Gold here, which is excellent to see paired with the RTX 5080, as it’s not uncommon to find 850W options instead. Its cooler is a Bitspower SA-XLF360BK-AS AIO, which is going to help keep this high-performance configuration running at its best even under heavy and sustained loads, and it’s all built on a higher-end Gigabyte B850 gaming WIFI6 motherboard. Overall, it’s a very strong foundation for the RTX 5080 and Ryzen 7 9800X3D, but is also well-equipped to handle upgrades in the future.
How good is this deal?
For the price, you’re actually getting a pretty good deal here, as this PC is loaded with components from well-regarded brands, boasts excellent ABS build quality, and packs one of the best GPUs and best CPUs for gaming on the market right now. In terms of pricing, it makes a lot of sense, and nowadays, getting an RTX 5080 for under $3000 with these types of components isn’t always the case.
