Amazon deal sinks outstanding ASUS ROG 34″ QD-OLED monitor’s price to a new record low
Table of Contents
This ASUS ROG Strix 34-inch monitor is now down to its lowest price ever on Amazon, with 18% off its list price and coming in at $899.00. As you likely know already, ASUS ROG Strix is a premium lineup, so this monitor has a lot more to it than some of your more mid-range 34-inch options. It’s OLED, 3440x1440p resolution, with a 1800 curvature, and 240Hz, for one, but it also packs smart TV functionality, supports Dolby Vision, and even has GeForce NOW built in for cloud gaming. What that means is that you’re getting a very impressive gaming monitor in its own right, but also something that can double up as a fantastic standalone entertainment system for gaming, streaming, and more.
ASUS ROG Strix 34” OLED Curved Ultrawide Gaming Monitor (XG34WCDMTG)
34-inch monitors like this are great for anyone who wants to game with a wider field of view and has a PC that can handle its slightly higher-than-QHD resolution at high refresh rates. You’re probably looking at an RTX 5070 Ti, I’d say, for something like this, if you want to make the most of it. On top of that, I’d say that this particular monitor’s smart TV functionality and creative capabilities make it great as a work and entertainment station. If you’re a video editor, I think this monitor is going to allow you to make critical edits and give you enough room for on-screen tools and multiple windows.

QD-OLED panel
You’re getting near-perfect blacks, quantum-dot color, and bright highlights for lifelike and cinematic picture quality. Amazing for playing AAA games, and brilliant for watching films, too.

240Hz refresh rate with 0.03ms response time
This monitor allows for very high framerate gaming at up to 240fps, and with its near-instantaneous response time, even fast-paced movement should look super smooth.
Dolby Vision support
It supports one of the most advanced HDR formats, much like most higher-end OLED TVs do. This means its HDR presentation can be much more dynamic compared to monitors that only support HDR10, for example.
10-bit color, Delta E<2 accuracy, and 99% DCI-P3
All fantastic for lifelike visuals and smooth color gradients in games, shows, and films, but also exceptional for creative work, such as video editing, too.
OLED protection
ASUS ROG monitors have some seriously advanced burn-in protection, ranging from advanced heatsinks to intelligent algorithms that can detect potential burn-in threats and adjust picture settings before they become an issue.
USB-C with 90W PD
A big win if you’ve got a laptop and gaming PC setup, as it allows you to connect your laptop for display, data, and charging via a single cable directly to the monitor.
