Table of Contents
The latest generation of Apple’s smartwatch remains the most sought-after on the market, with the Apple Watch Series 11 combining a brighter Always-On display than its predecessor, plus a longer battery life, improved scratch resistance, and an even broader set of health and fitness features. Its ECG, blood oxygen support, hypertension notifications, Sleep Score, Vitals tracking, and safety functions give it substantially more capability than the SE line, while its lighter 42mm aluminium design is much easier to wear continuously than the larger Apple Watch Ultra. For iPhone users wanting the best balance between advanced health tracking, everyday comfort, and smartwatch functionality, the Series 11 is a great option, and for 25% off the usual price, this deal is a fantastic opportunity to pick one up for significantly less.
This particular configuration of the Apple Watch Series 11 uses a Rose Gold aluminium case with a Light Blush Sport Band in the S/M size.
Connectivity on this GPS model relies on the paired iPhone or Wi-Fi rather than an independent cellular plan. Built-in GPS allows the watch to track outdoor routes without relying on the phone’s GPS sensor, while Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi handle communication with nearby devices and networks. What we like about this Apple Watch Series 11 (42mm)
Much more comprehensive health tracking
Apple Watch Series 11 expands its health functionality with ECG readings, high and low heart-rate alerts, irregular rhythm notifications, overnight Vitals data, sleep apnea notifications, and hypertension notifications. It also adds a daily Sleep Score, giving users a simpler way to interpret overall sleep quality rather than relying only on individual overnight metrics.
Up to 24 hours of battery life
Battery life has improved to up to 24 hours of normal use, with as much as 38 hours available in Low Power Mode. Fast charging is also useful in practice, with around 15 minutes of charging providing up to eight hours of normal use and roughly 30 minutes taking the battery to about 80%.
Always-On Retina display reaches 2,000 nits
The 42mm model uses an Always-On Retina OLED with LTPO3 technology, up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness, and a minimum brightness of 1 nit. That gives the screen enough brightness for outdoor use while allowing it to dim substantially in darker environments.
Improved scratch resistance
The aluminum version uses Ion-X front glass that Apple rates as twice as scratch resistant as Series 10. That matters for a device worn constantly on the wrist, where accidental contact with desks, doors, gym equipment, and other surfaces is difficult to avoid.
S10 chip and 64GB storage
The Series 11 uses Apple’s S10 SiP with a 64-bit dual-core processor, four-core Neural Engine, and 64GB of internal capacity. The hardware supports on-device Siri processing alongside the watch’s broader health, fitness, and safety features.
Strong safety features
Crash Detection, Fall Detection, Emergency SOS, international emergency calling, and Check In give the watch a substantial safety feature set. The accelerometer and gyroscope can help recognize severe incidents, while Check In can notify a chosen contact when you arrive at a destination.
Who is this Apple Watch Series 11 deal suitable for?
The Apple Watch Series 11 is aimed at iPhone users who want a broad mix of health monitoring, fitness tracking, communication, and everyday smartwatch functionality without moving up to the much larger Apple Watch Ultra.
The 42mm model is particularly suited to users who prefer a lighter watch for all-day and overnight wear. At approximately 30.3g for the aluminum GPS version, it is significantly easier to forget about on the wrist than a large adventure-focused smartwatch.
It also makes sense for users who want more advanced health features than the SE line offers, including ECG, blood oxygen support, hypertension notifications, and the more sophisticated third-generation optical heart sensor.
