Asus TUF 165Hz curved monitor finds its lowest price in 17 months on Amazon
Table of Contents
The Asus TUF Gaming VG34VQL1B has just fallen to its lowest price on Amazon since June… of last year. The 165Hz, 34-inch curved monitor has just popped up on our radar at a deal price of $250. That’s $50 below its current list price, but it’s also the lowest price the monitor has seen in 17 months. That makes it a very good time to pick it up, and there are several key reasons you may want to. Here’s what you need to know.
Why we like this Asus TUF Gaming 34-inch gaming monitor
A subtly curved monitor
This WQHD (3440 x 1440) monitor has an expansive 34-inch display offering a wider view when gaming. And the monitor’s 1500R curve is suited to gamers who prefer a more subtle curvature (compared to, say, 1000R). It’s a size and curve combination that provides a more immersive, engaging experience than traditional monitors.
Fast and well-featured
With its 165Hz refresh rate, the VG34VQL1B is fast enough to enjoy cinematic action and online multiplayer gaming at up to 165 frames per second. It has a snappy 1ms response time, and the monitor also supports ELMB (Extreme Low-Motion Blur) and AMD FreeSync Premium to ensure smooth and fluid gameplay.

Ergonomic and eye-care
Not every curved monitor offers an adjustable stand, but the VG34VQL1B does feature a height-adjustable stand. That’s a big boost, allowing you to set it where it’s best for your personal eye level. The monitor cares about eyes, too, and includes the Asus Eye Care feature to help reduce irritation and tiredness.
What to consider before you buy
At the deal price, this is an affordable and likable curved monitor, at close to its best-ever price. That gets our nod of approval, as does the quality you can expect from a TUF gaming model. However, be sure that the specs and features match your needs, and check out the best curved monitors for alternatives.
