If you’re after an RTX 5060 gaming laptop but want something notably more premium than your entry-level models, then the HP Omen 16 lineup would be a good place to kick off your search. This HP Omen 16 is currently at its lowest price in 30 days on Amazon, through third-party seller PCOnline US (which has a 4.5-star rating and has fulfilled over 100,000 orders in the last year alone on Amazon). It’s now $1,649.00, down 13%, which is roughly $250 to $300 more than you’d pay for a typical entry-level RTX 5060 laptop, in my experience. It’s a good price, given what it brings to the table, its overall quality, and how it doesn’t leave you hanging in any particular area, as some more budget-friendly options can.

Ryzen AI 7 350 processor
This processor packs 8 cores, 16 threads, a boost clock speed of 5GHz, and 16MB L3 cache. It’s not an absolute beast of a processor that you’d find paired with RTX 5070 Ti laptops or above, but it is a powerful pick for the RTX 5060’s gaming and workstation capabilities. Notably, it features a 50 TOPS NPU, which can be handy for tasks like live captions or video background blurring, and so on.
FHD+ IPS display
With IPS, you’re getting wider viewing angles, and FHD+ on a 16-inch display certainly looks crisp and clear, too. With this 16:10 aspect ratio, you’re getting some extra vertical space, and with 165Hz, it’s high enough to accommodate pretty competitive frame rates.
16GB of DDR5 and 1TB storage
A decent amount of RAM for gaming, more than enough for most productivity and relatively demanding creative tasks, and easily upgradable later down the line if needed. The same goes for the 1TB SSD, which is large enough for most people, especially with a bit of careful storage management.
