The Micro Center’s Intel Core i7-14700K and MSI Pro Z790-P bundle was spotted at Amazon with 13% knocked off its asking price. The original ask was $529.99, but with this offer it’ll only cost you $459.99. This is a good starter to opt for, as the 14700K packs a massive punch, capable of handling modern gaming and productivity without breaking a sweat. With it sitting on top of a Z790 motherboard, it’ll be able to unleash its full potential with plenty of on-board support for overclocking as well.

The only aspect you need to consider is whether you want to build an LGA1700 PC, as the path for upgrades will be severely limited. That being said, even with the current hardware, you can opt for any of the best GPUs on the market and keep your new build running for years to come. To help you make an informed decision, we’ll showcase the real-world benchmarks from our 14700K review as well.
