Colossal 98 inch Samsung TV gets $300 price cut in this great value deal
Table of Contents
The Samsung 98-inch DU9000 delivers an enormous screen combined with smooth 120Hz motion, capable 4K processing, solid gaming features, and Samsung’s mature Tizen smart platform. The most immediate impression of the DU9000 is simply its scale. A 98-inch display fills a room in a way that conventional 65- or 75-inch televisions cannot, creating a highly engaging experience for films, sporting events, and gaming. When viewed from an appropriate distance, the enormous screen significantly increases immersion without requiring a projector setup. While its LED panel cannot match the contrast performance of premium Mini-LED or OLED televisions, its sheer scale, excellent processing, and competitive feature set make it one of the most compelling large-screen TVs available for movies, sports, and gaming. It’s also massively more affordable than an OLED or Mini-LED TV would be at this size – grab it now for just $1,397.99!
What we like about this 98-inch Samsung DU9000 Crystal UHD 4K Smart TV
Immersive 98-inch display
The defining feature of the DU9000 is its enormous 98-inch screen, creating a genuinely cinematic viewing experience that few televisions can match. Whether watching films, live sports, or playing modern console games, the sheer size dramatically increases immersion, particularly in larger living rooms or dedicated home theatre spaces.
Smooth 120Hz gaming performance
Unlike many entry-level large-screen televisions that remain limited to 60Hz, the DU9000 supports Motion Xcelerator 120Hz for noticeably smoother gameplay and motion handling. Combined with Samsung’s Game Bar and AI Auto Game Mode, the TV provides a far more responsive gaming experience for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and gaming PCs.

Excellent picture processing for large screens
Samsung’s Crystal Processor 4K works alongside Supersize Picture Enhancer to optimise content for the massive 98-inch panel. AI-assisted processing sharpens lower-resolution material, reduces visible image noise, and enhances perceived detail so that HD broadcasts and streamed content remain enjoyable even at this exceptionally large screen size.
Comprehensive smart TV platform
Running Samsung’s Tizen operating system, the DU9000 offers access to virtually every major streaming service alongside cloud gaming support, voice assistants, smart home integration, and Samsung’s extensive ecosystem of connected applications. Navigation remains quick and intuitive, while regular software updates continue adding features over time.
Who should consider this 98 inch TV deal?
The Samsung DU9000 is designed for users who prioritise screen size above all else. It is an excellent choice for home cinema enthusiasts, sports fans, families, and gamers looking to recreate a projector-like experience without the complexity of a dedicated projection system. It is particularly well suited to larger rooms where smaller televisions can struggle to provide an immersive viewing experience.
