If you’re looking for a high-quality gaming laptop from a well-respected brand, the Lenovo Legion Pro series is one of the best – almost always appearing in the top 3 of yearly ‘best of’ picks from reviewers across the board. This particular Legion Pro 5i Gen 10 is a great high-performance gaming laptop that combines a premium OLED display, a very strong Core Ultra 9 275HX CPU, and a powerful Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card in a well-made, balanced package. It has enough hardware to satisfy serious gaming use, but it also offers the sort of screen and memory configuration that make it much more versatile than a gaming-only machine. For buyers wanting a powerful 16-inch laptop with clear strengths beyond raw FPS, it is a strong choice for this very reasonable price. Act quickly and secure it for $500 off!
The specs of this laptop make it a great choice for 1600p gaming, with the RTX 5070 Ti providing enough GPU performance to take proper advantage of the 165Hz refresh rate. The Core Ultra 9 275HX also gives the machine enough CPU headroom for heavier titles and mixed workloads, while the memory and storage setup prevent obvious bottlenecks. In practice, that typically results in a laptop that feels fast not just when benchmarking, but when moving between gaming, streaming, and content-heavy multitasking.
What we like about this Lenovo Legion Pro 5i Gen 10 laptop
Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and RTX 5070 Ti make this a serious performance laptop
This laptop combines Intel’s Core Ultra 9 275HX with an RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU and 12GB of GDDR7, which gives it a very strong mobile gaming foundation. The CPU provides enough multi-core overhead for demanding titles, heavy multitasking, and creator applications, while the GPU is positioned to drive modern games well at the laptop’s native 2560 x 1600 resolution. The OLED display is one of the standout technical features
A 16-inch OLED panel with 2560 x 1600 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, HDR True Black 1000 support, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, and 500 nits brightness is a very attractive specification for a gaming machine. OLED improves perceived contrast dramatically, while the 165Hz refresh rate keeps motion fluid and responsive. The wide gamut and stronger HDR presentation also make the machine more convincing for media work and content consumption than many gaming laptops that still use more conventional IPS displays.
DDR5-5600 memory and Wi-Fi 7 keep the platform current
The Legion Pro 5i is not just relying on its CPU and GPU. It also includes 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory, a 1TB Gen4 SSD, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4, which means the broader platform is properly modern as well. The memory capacity is especially important in a performance laptop because it supports smoother multitasking and more demanding production use, while Wi-Fi 7 and updated connectivity help the machine feel more future-facing than many older premium notebooks.
Lenovo’s gaming software and panel protection features add practical value
Lenovo is also leaning into AI-assisted system tuning and burn-in mitigation tools through Legion Space and related platform features. On a gaming OLED laptop, that matters because long sessions with static HUDs can raise panel-care concerns over time. Having built-in protection options and performance-management tools makes the laptop easier to live with, especially for users who want to use it hard for both competitive play and general productivity.
Who’s this Lenovo Legion laptop deal for?
This machine is ideal for gamers who want high-end laptop performance without stepping all the way to flagship-tier pricing, and especially for buyers who value display quality as much as raw frame rates. It is also well suited to users who want one laptop for gaming, creative work, and everyday productivity, since the CPU, RAM, and OLED screen all lend themselves to broader use than gaming alone.
