This ABS Cyclone gaming PC is going for a genuinely good price on Newegg right now, coming in at $1,199.99 with its initial $400 discount and extra $100 promo savings. It’s a clever configuration that’s designed for solid gaming, workstation, and productivity performance, but remains affordable largely by opting for a 14th-gen Intel CPU and DDR4 RAM instead of Core Ultra and DDR5.
ABS Cyclone Aqua Prebuilt Gaming PC, GeForce RTX 5060 8GB
The RTX 5060 in this build is going to give you what you need for FHD gaming at ultra settings and high framerate, competitive play, primarily. That being said, with Blackwell features like 5th-gen tensor cores, DLSS, and MFG, it can be used for QHD, too, with the right settings. For creatives, the RTX 5060 is well positioned to speed up creative workflows, especially in apps like Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, which can benefit from GPU acceleration. And with its 9th-gen Nvidia Encoders and AV1 support, you can expect speedy exports in a more efficient, modern format.
Its CPU is the Intel i7-14700F, which is a fantastic all-rounder for gaming, multitasking, and creative work. Where it differs from the likes of many processors at this price range is that it packs a much larger core count and a decent-sized L3 cache. You’ve got 20 cores (8P+12E) and 28 threads, compared to the typical 8 cores and 16 threads found in most gaming-oriented CPUs. On top of that, its L3 cache is 33MB, instead of 16MB, which makes it much better at handling higher-framerate gaming at lower resolutions, too.

This build features 32GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB SSD, which is a sensible option from a price-to-performance perspective. With 32GB, you’re getting more headroom for future game releases, multitasking, and working on larger creative projects, and with 1TB, you’ve got enough room for a decent-sized game collection, which can be upgraded when or if you need to later down the line.
Why we like this ABS Cyclone Aqua RTX 5060 gaming PC
It’s smart configuration for all-round performance from a pricing perspective
Even though one is on an older LGA 1700 socket and the other is also last-gen, you’ve still got a very impressive, high-core-count CPU and a hefty 32GB of RAM. Combined with a Blackwell graphics card, this is a very strong all-rounder build for the price.
Appropriate and not over-specced cooling and PSU
This build isn’t geared towards those who want to upgrade in the very near future, so you’re not putting your budget towards overkill components for its current configuration, like AIO liquid cooling or a 750W PSU. Here you have a very appropriate 650W PSU and a Cooler Master Hyper 212 air cooler to keep it working this system working at its best.
Clean, minimal design
These ABS builds have a uniquely toned-down aesthetic, which works very well in hybrid professional and gaming setups. Since having a PC with loads of RGB and made entirely of glass isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, I’d say this PC certainly holds some appeal for the right person.
