Get the Ryzen 7 5800X3D for the lowest we can find, as Amazon deal price stands firm
Table of Contents
We recently highlighted AMD’s legendary Ryzen 7 5800X3D at its lowest price in an Amazon deal. But if you missed that opportunity, don’t worry. The 10th-anniversary CPU, with all its 3D V-Cache goodness, is still available at the best price we can see anywhere. Even though there’s no discount marked by Amazon, the retailer’s price is still $339.95. That’s around $10 less than anywhere else, which is only a good thing.

Why we’d pick the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
The last bastion of AM4 gaming
If you have a Socket AM4 gaming PC, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D is the last upgrade you’ll want or need for the platform. The processor no longer features in our best CPU for gaming list (shoved out by newer CPUs), but no AM4 processor comes close thanks to the 5800X3D’s 3D V-Cache.
Still strong in 2026
A gaming PC featuring the 5800X3D still has plenty of track to run in 2026. If you’re upgrading from a 3000-Series, or a less-capable 5000-Series CPU, the 5800X3D will breathe new life into a gaming PC, especially when paired with a decent midrange graphics card like the RX 9070 XT. 1440p is the likely max without CPU bottlenecks, though.

A lower-cost gaming build
The Ryzen 7 5800X3D is perfect for one-and-done PC builds that cost less than a Socket AM5 system. If you’re restricted by price but want a gaming PC that will last for some years, building anew with Socket AM4 is an option – and this CPU is the very best pick for such a project if future upgrades aren’t a factor.
What to consider before you buy
We love the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, and the 10th anniversary edition returns it to action while providing a further option for AMD owners on the AM4 platform. Honestly, we’d love to see this CPU even more competitively priced than at present. But if you’re looking to buy today, then Amazon has the best price we can find, and have seen since release. This isn’t a straight discount, but we think $339.95 is the best deal out there. Unless you can afford the extra expense for AM5.
