Gigabyte thin and light RTX 5070 gaming laptop hits its lowest price ever on Amazon
Table of Contents
If you’re looking for a thin and light gaming laptop that doesn’t completely break the bank, then this Gigabyte Aero X16 is a solid option to consider at its current reduced price. It’s dipped to its lowest price ever on Amazon; it is 28% off its list price, and down to $1,299.00. That’s not bad, considering this is an RX 5070 laptop and what it brings to the table in terms of power and portability.
Now, since this is a thinner and lighter gaming laptop, it opts for an RTX 5070 at 85W TGP, meaning that’s it’s designed to offer a balanced performance and efficiency profile, compared to something with a higher, more performance-leaning TGP. That being said, you’re still going to get something that’s adept at gaming in FHD, QHD, and 1600p at decent framerates, especially when supported with DLSS.
GIGABYTE AERO X16, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070
The CPU is a Ryzen AI 7 350, which boasts 8 cores, 16 threads, and a boost clock of 5GHz, which once again strikes a good balance between performance and efficiency. It’s the type of CPU that’s excellent for multitasking, gaming, and handling various creative workflows, without driving the overall price sky-high or being over-specced for this laptop’s GPU. With 16GB of fast DDR5, your general computing experience, workflows, and gaming should all feel super smooth, too.

On to the screen, where you have a 165Hz 1600p IPS display. Not a great deal to say here, aside from the fact it’s going to be excellent for gaming, with 100% sRGB color making everything look super vibrant. It’s okay for creative work, but obviously not as good as a more expensive OLED alternative.
For the price, it’s quite tempting, especially if you want something more portable than your typical RTX 5070 laptop, and now looks to be one of the best times to get, too. Read on for a few more standout features of this laptop, and more of our top deals.
