Sometimes it’s not always obvious why products are popular. But there’s no such confusion with the Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 (G61SH). The sleekly styled 27-inch Pantone-validated gaming monitor has a superfast refresh rate. And it has also been at $200 below its list price twice in the last two months. Thankfully, one of those times is now, meaning you can pick it up for $300, which is a boon if you’re looking for a gaming-focused screen upgrade.
Why we like the 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6 (G61SH)
Super-quick refresh rate
A truly premium gaming monitor, the G651SH has a rapid 240Hz refresh rate. That’s ideal if you want support for a huge amount of frames per second for highly detailed 2K gaming. And it’s backed by a lightning-quick 0.03ms response time. So latency in competitive or fast-paced gaming won’t be an issue.

OLED and HDR10
OLED monitors really do look far better than the more affordable VA and IPS panels, and upgrading to an OLED monitor delivers a new level of visual enjoyment. Contrast, color, and visual fidelity are all far greater. And this monitor’s HDR10 rating means it can also support HDR content with 10-bit color depth.
