Table of Contents
If you’re looking for a truly exceptional OLED TV but want to make sure you’re scoring some solid savings in the process, then you’ll want to check out this discounted LG C6. This 55-inch model is down to its lowest price ever on Amazon, with a hefty 29% off its list price, coming in at $999.99. Yep, it’s expensive, especially for something relatively small, but this TV certainly earns its premium price tag. This version, which is from a long line of impressive C-series entries, boasts a faster, high-end Alpha 11 Ai processor Gen 3, up to a 165Hz refresh rate with FreeSync Premium, and, of course, a stunning OLED panel for incredible contrast and color.
What we like about this LG 55-inch OLED C6 TV
Brightness booster
This feature is a game-changer, as OLEDs can be a little on the dimmer side and struggle in bright ambient environments.
Advanced gaming features
Not only does this TV have up to a 165Hz refresh rate, allowing for very high fps gaming in 4K, but it also packs an incredibly low 0.1ms response time and FreeSync Premium, which help reduce ghosting, motion blur, screen tearing, and stutter.

Dolby Vision, Atmos, and filmmaker mode
This gives you everything you need for the ultimate movie nights. You’ve got a TV that can adjust its picture settings dynamically in line with the top-tier HDR metadata, and with Filmmaker mode, you can view films exactly as the director intended them to be seen. Dolby Atmos support also primes this TV for use with speakers and soundbars, for a super immersive 3D audio experience.
Stunning contrast
Having OLED-level contrast, where you’re getting pitch blacks essentially, gives everything a much more lifelike, cinematic, and atmospheric sheen, which is hard to beat even with some of the best mini-LEDs. In darker rooms, it’s pretty epic and really ups the sense of immersion.
Is this deal right for you?
So, firstly, it’s going to be great if you’re after amazing picture quality and you’ve got a slightly smaller space to fill, where you’re sitting quite close to the screen. I’d say that it’s going to be best suited for those who also want to use it for gaming on PC or a high-end console, like PS5 or Xbox Series X, and enjoy watching fast-paced content, like sports and racing. Now you could go a bit cheaper and go for something from the B-series, which I think are excellent, too, but if you want an OLED that doesn’t really scale back in any particular area, this LG C6 is well worth your time.
