Table of Contents
There’s no denying Logitech is a company many trust with PC gaming accessories. And its ‘Lightspeed’-enabled devices are a firm favorite among PC gamers, both young and…more experienced. The good news, if you need a gaming headset right now, is this deal we’ve spotted on the Logitech G522 Lightspeed. A popular gaming headset with up to 60 hours of battery life, it’s down from its $160 list price to $130. That’s a nice $30 saving, not to be sniffed at.
Why we like the Logitech G522 Lightspeed
Excellent voice clarity and customizable output
Logitech has bestowed the G522 Lightspeed with what it calls best-in-class voice clarity. The wireless headset’s 48 kHz / 24-bit bandwidth microphone should deliver clear voice comms in games and good enough audio for streaming. And if you want to customize your audio output, you can do that with Blue VO!CE software, or tweak audio settings and EQ in Logitech’s G Hub or the G app.
Big wireless battery, with LED lighting disabled
As you may expect, the Logitech G522 Lightspeed offers LED lighting, which is customizable and powered by Lightsync RGB. That adds some extra flair to the headset, but if you turn off the lighting, you can get up to 60 hours of wireless battery life with the headset – that’s several long gaming sessions’ worth without a recharge.

Immersive audio across devices
The G522 Lightspeed uses the excellent PRO-G audio drivers for 48kHz / 24-bit audio, meaning you can expect strong, rich sound quality. And you can enjoy the audio in three listening modes: Lightspeed wireless for PC, Bluetooth for phones and tablets, or USB-A to USB-C, so you have connectivity options to help you get the most out of the headset.
