Right now you can grab the TV for 15% off on Amazon. Giving you a saving of $260 on the TV as it drops from its usual full price of $1,699.99 down to the $1,439.99 deal price instead. That’s as it falls to the lowest price the TV has been at on the retailer, according to price tracking sites.

TCL F8D features

4K QLED With Quantum Dot Color

Enjoy four times the resolution of Full HD with a 4K QLED display powered by Quantum Dot technology. Covering nearly the entire DCI-P3 color spectrum, the screen delivers rich, lifelike colors and fine detail across movies, sports, and TV shows, creating a more vibrant and immersive viewing experience.

Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10+ for Realistic Contrast

Support for Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10, and HLG provides compatibility with a wide range of HDR content. These technologies enhance contrast, color, and brightness to produce deeper blacks, brighter highlights, and more detailed images, helping compatible movies and shows look more realistic.

High-Brightness Direct LED Backlight

The direct-lit LED backlight distributes illumination across the screen to provide bright, consistent picture quality. This helps maintain clear, vivid images on the large display, even in well-lit rooms where surrounding light can make it harder to see darker details.

144 Hz Refresh Rate and Advanced Gaming Features

The native 144Hz panel delivers smooth motion for fast-paced sports, action movies, and gaming. Motion Rate 480 enhances motion clarity, while Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), and Game Accelerator 288 help reduce screen tearing, stuttering, and input lag. Together, these features provide a more fluid and responsive experience for compatible gaming systems.

Fire TV Smart Entertainment

Fire TV brings your favorite streaming apps, live channels, watchlists, and personalized recommendations together in one convenient interface. It can help you pick up where you left off and discover new content without endless scrolling. You can also ask Alexa for suggestions when you’re unsure what to watch next.

Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual Audio

The built-in speaker system combines two 15W speakers with an additional 15W audio component to deliver powerful sound directly from the TV. Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual processing create a more expansive, multi-dimensional soundstage, adding depth to movie soundtracks, music, sports, and gaming without necessarily requiring a separate sound system.

HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 And AirPlay 2

A versatile selection of connectivity options makes it easy to connect your entertainment devices. Four HDMI 2.1 inputs support compatible consoles, PCs, and other equipment, with two ports supporting 4K at 144Hz and one offering eARC for connecting a compatible soundbar or AV receiver. Built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, and Apple AirPlay 2 provide convenient wireless streaming and accessory connectivity.

Smart Everyday Features

A built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts picture brightness to suit the surrounding room, helping maintain comfortable viewing throughout the day. Everyday conveniences include a program guide, automatic channel scanning, closed captioning, and parental controls, making the TV easier for everyone in the household to use.

Alexa+ Voice Assistant

Alexa+ makes it easier to discover entertainment through natural voice commands. Ask for recommendations across compatible streaming apps, explore a wide range of topics, or use supported commands to manage TV functions and compatible smart-home devices.

Alexa+ Smart Home Control

Turn your TV into a convenient hub for managing compatible smart-home devices while you watch. View camera feeds, check activity updates, adjust lighting, and control connected comfort devices from the screen. Support for displaying up to four live camera feeds at once also helps you keep an eye on different areas of your home without leaving your entertainment.

Why we like this TCL TV deal

The TCL TV offers a great way to look at your media with a new perspective. The QLED panel gives it great vibrancy, shadows, and more that really shine through on the 98-inch size. Along with the fast refresh rate that gives it a smoother feel, making it faster and smoother too, the VRR ensures that it works across various frame rates.

That has given the TV an average rating of 4.2 stars out of 5 from over 60 ratings, highlighting the quality, setup, color, and value for money. The last of which now comes even better: as the graph from CamelCamelCamel shows below, it has fallen to a new low price for you to enjoy some great value.
