What made the Netgear RS90 catch our attention
Very decent wireless and wired performance
The NETGEAR Nighthawk RS90 delivers fast, reliable network performance by combining the abilities of dual-band WiFi 7 with multi-gig wired connectivity for gaming, streaming, video conferencing, and general browsing. The benefit of WiFi 7 is that it introduces innovations like Multi-Link Operation (MLO), higher-capacity channels, and improved efficiency. On the wired front, 2. 5Gb Ethernet port enables the RS90 to provide gaming PCs and other devices with super-fast speeds, low latency, and next-level reliability.
Good coverage for small working or living spaces
With a 2,000 sq. ft. coverage, this router is tailored for apartments, small houses, and home offices. You will get stable wireless performance from high-performance internal antennas and beamforming technology. Instead of WiFi radiating equally in every direction, beamforming directs the signal towards your connected devices. This results in better range, stronger signals, more stable connections, and fewer dead zones around your living or working space.

Solid security features
Security is something that can’t be compromised on, and this router brings some serious firepower. It is packed with powerful security features to defend your home network and any devices that connect to it from potential risks. WPA3 encryption makes sure that wireless communications are secured with stronger authentication measures. Other than that, NETGEAR Armor brings an additional security layer as it checks ongoing network traffic, bans access to websites that host malicious content, notices computer threats, and even helps keep smartphones, laptops, and smart home devices all securely locked and hidden behind their own firewall.
