Key features of this ABS Cyclone Ruby Gaming PC

Ryzen 7 9700X processor

This gaming PC packs the impressive Ryzen 7 9700X processor, which is an excellent choice for 1440p gaming and boasts exceptional power efficiency. It has a boost clock speed of 5.5GHz and a large 32MB L3 cache, which makes it a good choice for high fps gaming with low latency, especially for games that are CPU-bound, like many of the most popular first-person shooters. For creatives, it’s also very impressive, as it’s able to handle applications like Adobe Premiere Pro very well, with fast and efficient rendering, better export times, and more. For multitasking, its 8 cores and 16 threads are excellent for tasks like streaming or running background applications while gaming, like Discord. Overall, it’s one of the best CPUs on the market, with a very strong price-to-performance ratio, too. Check out our full review here for more details.

RTX 5060 Ti 16GB graphics card

This is one of the best graphics cards to go for if you’re looking to keep your budget in the mid-range, but would prefer to have something with more VRAM to handle higher resolution textures in-game, and more demanding creative workloads, like working in 3D and 4K video editing. Compared to the 8GB version, even though it has the same amount of CUDA cores, it’s far superior, and is a much better option to go for if you’re playing games at 1440p with ray tracing, and even 4K, both of which pose a challenge for the smaller VRAM option. For creatives, it also handles applications like Blender, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Davinci Resolve much better, reducing lag and crashing, and allowing for a much smoother overall experience. All in all, it’s an excellent graphics card to go for, that’s packed with ‘next-gen’ tech, like 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and GDDR7 VRAM, and not that much more pricey than the RTX 5060 Ti 8GB either. Storage and RAM

You’ve got 32GB of DDR5 here, which has a wide range of benefits for gaming, productivity, and creative workflows. For games, it reduces stuttering, especially in open-world titles, which are RAM-intensive just to run, and it also helps if you want to have Discord, OBS, or other applications and tabs open while gaming, too. For creatives, especially video editing and photo editing, where files can be absolutely massive, 32GB gives you plenty of headroom and allows you to make changes without your system grinding to a complete halt. For storage, you’ve got a 1TB SSD, which is okay in most cases, and works well if you’re not too fussed about having a huge gaming library.

Things to consider

At just under $1,700, you’re not a million miles away from RX 9070 XT prebuild territory, which can start around $1,900 from my experience. These have 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM and are far superior when it comes to 1440p and 4K gaming, the latter especially, although the RTX 5060 Ti does have better ray tracing and AI capabilities. I’d say these RX 9070 XT options are well worth exploring if you’re looking for something with an excellent price-to-performance ratio that excels when it comes to raw gaming performance.
