Key features of this Corsair Vengeance a5100 Gaming PC

Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor

Released a few years ago, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D still holds up as one of the very best gaming CPUs you can buy, and not a bad option for multitasking, either, thanks to its decent core and thread count (8+16). The unique feature of this processor, however, is its impressive 3D V-cache, which is designed to hold more data for much faster access. What this means is that frame latency is dramatically decreased, which ultimately results in high fps and smoother gameplay. Check out our full review for a deeper dive.

RTX 5080 graphics card

If you don’t fancy spending an absolute fortune on an RTX 5090, the RTX 5080 is absolutely the way to go for top-tier 4K gaming and demanding content creation tasks, like 4K video editing and working in 3D. It’s one of the best graphics cards on the market right now, and benefits from being built on Nvidia’s latest Blackwell Architecture. You’ve got 5th-gen tensor cores for a significant AI performance boost, which also make new, exclusive features like MFG possible. You’ve also got the latest 4th-gen ray tracing cores, which are more adept at handling complex scenarios than the previous generation, and there’s even 9th-gen Nvidia encoders for improved exporting times, better video quality, and more. Storage and RAM

As expected with an RTX 5080 build, it features 32GB of DDR5, and in this case, it’s from Corsair’s own Dominator Titantium lineup. For sanppy and responsive multitasking, handling demanding creative applications, and running games that are heavily modded, for example, this amount of RAM is ideal. On top of that, you’ve got a 2TB SSD, which is enough space for a large gaming library without having to worry too much about storage management.

Things to consider

In short, this gaming PC is one of the most expensive RTX 5080 options you’ll come across, as it’s very high-end when it comes to build quality and components. You can absolutely get cheaper RTX 5080 models with similar processors and components, with some going as low as $2,500 from our experience. Brands like Skytech, iBuyPower, and Cobratype are good places to look if you’re going for great value, while MSI, Gigabyte, ASUS, or similar tend to be a bit more pricey.
