Premium ROG Strix gaming keyboard scores a record-low price in this Amazon deal
Table of Contents
Gaming enthusiasts looking for a reliable, multi-faceted keyboard may want to check out this deal on the Asus ROG Strix Scope II X (Wired). This Premium Asus gaming keyboard combines performance, durability, and even acoustic nous, but the best thing right now is its price. The Scope II’s $130 list price has been ignored with a deal price of $90 on Amazon. That’s a record low for the mechanical keyboard, making it the best time to buy it so far.

Why we like the Asus ROG Strix Scope II X Wired
Weighty and durable for longevity and resilience
Gaming keyboards can take a hammering, so the Strix Scope II comes well equipped. It’s a full-sized keyboard with a durable aluminum top plate, adding more resilience to constant use and heavy hands. Plus, PBT doubleshot keycaps. PBT refers to Polybutylene Terephthalate, engineered for durability, rigidity, and shine resistance. And a ‘doubleshot’ moulding process means the keyboard characters will last far longer.
Pre-lubed mechanical, dust-proof switches
As a mechanical keyboard, this model has pre-lubed mechanical switches for better actuation. You have the choice of hot-swappable ROG NX Snow linear switches (better for a smooth, so-called ‘thocky’ effect) or ROG NX Storm clicky switches (for a crisper and more tactile effect). But both switches use a dust-proof design.

Ergonomic and acoustic comfort
To assuage concerns about noisy, mechanical clicking, the Strix Scope II Wired employs both sound-dampening foam and switch-dampening pads. So whether you’re gaming or working, there’ll be less distracting click-clacking. For ergonomic comfort, the keyboard has three angle adjustments. Plus, an included detachable wrist rest supports optimal hand positioning.
What to consider before you buy
The Asus ROG Strix Scope II X Wired is a premium gaming keyboard, but the current deal pulling it below the $100 mark makes it far more compelling. It’s a keyboard that gamers will get the most out of, from its durable design and construction to its pre-programmed hotkeys and ROG LED aesthetic. However, if you want a reliable work and gaming keyboard, this full-sized mechanical model is worth considering, especially with its ergonomic and acoustic considerations.
