Rare Sonos Beam Gen 2 deal is the perfect opportunity to pick up this compact soundbar for more than a quarter off the MSRP
Table of Contents
The Sonos Beam Gen 2 is a compact but capable Dolby Atmos soundbar from one of the best brands in the game. It comes with strong app support, simple setup, AirPlay 2, Trueplay tuning, and easy Sonos ecosystem expansion. Noteworthy in particular for its speech clarity when watching media, as well as stereo width, and overall balance, it will provide a massive improvement over any TV audio soundscape. Although the Dolby Atmos effects won’t be quite as pronounced as on a larger soundbar with dedicated up-firing drivers (see this alternative deal on the Sonos Arc Ultra for something a bit larger), for its size, the Beam Gen 2 offers a strong mix of convenience, smart features, and polished sound.

What we like about this Sonos Beam Gen 2
Compact soundbar with Dolby Atmos support
The Sonos Beam Gen 2 is a compact soundbar, but it still supports Dolby Atmos for a more spacious, cinematic presentation. Its 25.6-inch width makes it easy to place under smaller and mid-sized TVs, while the internal processing helps create a wider soundstage than you’d expect from a single-box bar. It is designed to improve dialogue clarity, bass presence, and positional effects without needing a large speaker setup.
Simple HDMI and wireless connectivity
Setup is straightforward thanks to HDMI connectivity, with an optical adapter included for TVs without HDMI ARC/eARC support. It also supports Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Apple AirPlay 2, app control, TV remote control, and voice control, giving it far more flexibility than a basic TV speaker upgrade. When the TV is off, it can also work as a music speaker for streaming services, podcasts, audiobooks, and radio.

Expandable Sonos ecosystem
One of the biggest advantages is how easily it fits into a wider Sonos setup. You can use it alone, add a Sonos Sub or Sub Mini for stronger low-end impact, or pair it with rear speakers for a more convincing surround system. Trueplay tuning is another useful feature, helping optimize the sound based on your room’s layout.
Who should buy this Sonos soundbar deal?
The Sonos Beam Gen 2 is best for people who want a compact, premium soundbar for a bedroom, apartment, smaller living room, or minimalist TV setup. It is especially good if you want clean dialogue, easy streaming, and future expandability without starting with a full surround kit.
