Table of Contents
The FantasTech sales are still rolling, and there are some quality gaming PCs sitting at their lowest price in 30 days right now. This ABS Flux II Aqua build is one of them, and it’s been knocked down to $1,599.99, which is pretty good considering what you’re getting. This is an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB build, with an Intel Core i7-14700F, 32GB of DDR4, and a 1TB SSD. In short, it’s a PC that’s designed for solid 1440p gaming performance, but also has strong multitasking, creative, and productivity capabilities, all without being too pricey. For it to be more affordable, it obviously scales back in some areas, like DDR4 instead of DDR5, and an LGA 1700 processor instead of a newer LGA 1851 option. That being said, from a price-to-performance perspective, it’s a very solid option to consider.

What we like about this ABS Flux II Aqua gaming PC
RTX 5060 Ti 16GB makes is a strong all-rounder for the price
Obviously, this is the superior option to the 8GB version, as it has double the VRAM, so if you’re looking for better performance at 1440p with features like ray tracing enabled, it’s a much better way to go. It’s also not that much more expensive in a build, either. What’s more, it’s a solid option for creatives, where its rendering power, AI capabilities, and encoders can be leveraged effectively in a wide variety of workflows.
Excellent high-core-count CPU
The i7-14700F packs 20 cores and 28 threads, which makes it very well suited for those looking to run multiple applications at the same time. If you’re streaming, recording video, running Discord while gaming, for instance, this processor is going to be a good way to go. It has a boost clock of 5.4 GHz and a 33MB L3 cache, which is also pretty impressive and will be very good for QHD gaming in particular.

Loads of RAM
32GB of DDR4 positions this PC well to handle asset-heavy titles and gives it a decent amount of bandwidth for multitasking, too.
Who is this deal for?
This is basically for anyone who wants a well-balanced PC for QHD gaming, creative work, and productivity, but wants to keep costs much closer to the $1,500 mark. It’s not the most future-facing build, which is its only real trade-off, but if you’re not planning on any extensive upgrades to its components in the near future, this really shouldn’t matter too much.
I’d say if you want something more future-facing, go for an Intel Core Ultra 7 265K build. I would say a Ryzen AM5 CPU would be a smart, future-facing pick, but grabbing one with a higher core count is usually much more expensive in my experience.
