Fast RAM and good storage
Underpinning the this ROG Strix G18 laptop is a healthy RAM capacity of 32GB of DDR5 5600MHz. This amount and speed of memory would be welcome in a gaming desktop, so it’s more than enough to keep this capable laptop fuelled. Equally, the 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD with up to 7,000MB/s read speed is crucial to fast performance.
What to consider before you buy
This ROG Strix G18 laptop model is impressive. However, it has been less expensive, so this deal represents a return to a lower price. It’s also important to note that there are various models of the G18, so picking the right one for you is important. Finally, although this laptop has the performance for 1440p gaming, the display’s native resolution doesn’t support 1440p, so an external screen with native 1440p may be an alternative.
