This is the type of PC that’s going to excel at 1440p, and provide some exceptional workstation capabilities, making it a very strong, future-proof, hybrid-use build. What’s more, its 32GB of DDR5 is going to ensure that everything from gaming to working on huge creative documents, streaming, and more feels super snappy and responsive, which is a big win as not every RTX 5070 build features this amount of RAM, or even this version. What we like about this ABS Cyclone Aqua Gaming PC
Well-rounded CPU for more than just gaming
This build features an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF processor, which is a very good and relatively cost-effective option to pair with the RTX 5070. While options like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D are popular ways to go if you’re after powerhouse gaming performance, the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF is superior for non-gaming tasks. It has a huge core and thread count of 20(8P+12E) and 20, which is much larger than the 9800X3D. It makes it more capable of handling tasks in Blender, Premiere Pro, and any other application that benefits from better multithreaded and multicore performance. On the gaming front, it’s still good, coming in at 5.5. Ghz boost clock with a large 30 MB L3 cache. At 1440p, you can expect high framerates with low frame latency, making it a good call for the RTX 5070’s capabilities. Check out our full review for a deeper dive.

A powerful mid-range graphics card
You’ve got the excellent RTX 5070 here, which is one of the best graphics cards if you’re looking for solid 1440p performance and the latest features brought forward by Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, at a mid-range price point. It features 12GB of newer, faster GDDR7 VRAM, which allows for faster rendering and smoother gameplay, and it also boasts 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and 5th-gen tensor cores; the latter of which power MFG. While 12GB of VRAM can bottleneck 4K performance, it’s a good amount for 1440p at ultra settings and for handling some moderately demanding creative tasks, like working in 3D or video editing. In terms of gaming performance, in our review, it hit 108fps at 1440p at ultra settings, pure rasterization, which can give you a rough idea of what to expect with this build.
Loads of storage and RAM
You’ve got a 2TB SSD here, which is more than enough storage even if you’re planning on building a pretty robust gaming library. And there’s also a hefty amount of DDR5, coming in at 32GB. This is going to help keep gaming performance smooth, especially with asset-heavy titles like open-worlds and simulators. It’s also going to be great if you’re multitasking, whether that be streaming, running background applications like Discord, or recording gameplay using OMS.
Things to consider and alternatives
So at this price, you’re veering slightly close to RX 9070 XT prebuil territory, which could be a viable option if you’re after better 1440p and 4K performance and more VRAM (16GB of GDDR6 in this case). This Andromeda Insights RX 9070 XT, Ryzen 7 7800X3D is currrently $1,899.99 also, but you’ve got less DDR5, and it’s designed more with gaming in mind, for example. If you’re sticking with a high core count Intel prebuild, then this Andromeda Insights Vector RX 9070 XT, Core Ultra 7 265KF PC is a touch more at $2,099.99, which would also be a solid alternative to consider.
