Samsung’s 65″ OLED S90H TV plummets to its best price ever on Amazon
Table of Contents
Samsung’s impressive 65-inch S90H OLED TV has dropped to its lowest price ever on Amazon with a limited-time deal, and is now coming in at $1,597.99. Now the listing shows a 41% discount, but as you’ll see from the price tracking data, it hasn’t been at its list price since roughly the middle of June. That being said, this most recent discount is actually very good, dropping it from around $2,000. I’d call it a genuinely great deal on a genuinely great TV.
Samsung 65-Inch Class OLED S90H
So what’s this TV all about? Well, the S90H lineup is one of Samsung’s premium offerings, designed for outstanding picture quality and performance, with a super-sleek design and excellent gaming features. As mentioned, this TV is OLED, which is going to give you incredible contrast, bright highlights, amazing, true-to-life color, and inky blacks. For a more cinematic experience, OLEDs are hard to beat, especially in low-light environments.
A standout feature here is this TV’s NQ4 AI Gen3 Processor, which leverages, yep, you guessed it, AI to enhance picture quality, motion clarity, and more on the fly. Notable features here include 4K AI Upscaling Pro, which is useful for making non-native 4K content look closer to 4K, and Auto HDR Remastering Pro, which can make SDR content look more like HDR. Both of these are great if you’re watching shows from streaming platforms, which are not always native 4K or HDR.

On the gaming front, this TV features a 144Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium Pro, and ALLM. This means you’ve got a that’s capable of hitting up to 144 fps at 4K, but with little in the way of screen tearing and stutter, and feel responsive thanks to its low input latency. In short, pair this with a PS5 or 4K-ready gaming PC, and you’ll be laughing.
More standout features of this Samsung S90H Series 65-inch TV
Excellent HDR support
This TV supports HDR10+ adaptive, which means it can accept more dynamic metadata for a more nuanced scene-by-scene HDR presentation. It also has OLED HDR+, which further enhances contrast and brightness on top of this.
AI Motion Enhancer Pro
A genuinely useful feature for watching sports and fast-moving content. This improves motion clarity so you can keep track of what’s happening on screen. Without this and its high refresh rate, something like a soccer ball could appear almost like it’s glitching across the screen, which isn’t ideal, to say the least.
Glare free
In short, most OLED TVs aren’t glare-free, in my experience, which makes them epic for low-light rooms, but not so great for daytime viewing or rooms with loads of light sources. This glare-free option solves that issue without you missing out on OLED-quality contrast and color.
Is this TV right for you?
This TV is a good pick at its current price if you’re looking for something with outstanding picture quality, a powerful processor, and excellent gaming features, at a size that’s large enough to be cinematic, but not too big that it completely dominates a room. With its glare-free coating, it’s designed with well-lit rooms and daytime viewing in mind, but if you wanted something even brighter, I’d recommend checking out some mini-LED TVs also. They’re also, on the whole, more affordable, too.
