Samsung’s brilliant S85H Series 65-inch OLED TV is sitting at its record-low price on Amazon right now, with a beefy 37% discount, coming in at $999.99. Now for the large 65″ OLED, that’s a very competitive price, and I’d say it’s well worth checking out while it’s still reduced. As for the TV itself, it’s not the absolute pinnacle of OLEDs, but it does tick all the most important boxes when it comes to picture quality and performance. Here’s a closer look at its standout features.

Standout features
OLED display
The top dog when it comes to contrast, OLEDs like this one deliver super deep blacks and outstanding color, which gives a sense of depth that’s hard to beat compared to conventional LED/LCD TVs.
120Hz native refresh rate and FreeSync Premium
If you want to game at up to around 120fps in 4K, having a TV like this one with a 120Hz refresh rate is the best way to go. Not only that, but with FreeSync Premium, you’re going to be able to enjoy much smoother visuals, with reduced screen tearing and stutter, too.

This TV has a two-channel, 20W speaker system and supports Object Tracking Sound Lite, Adaptive Sound Pro, and Dolby Atmos. That means you’re getting something that’s primed to deliver an immersive, 3D-like audio experience, making it great out of the box or paired with external speakers.
One UI Tizen smart platform
Super user-friendly and easy to navigate and discover new content, with features like SmartThings, which allow you to control and monitor your smart home with ease directly from the TV itself.
Should you go for this TV?
I’d say this TV makes a lot of sense for most people from a price-to-performance perspective. That said, it’s not flagship-level, so you could up your budget and discover more premium features, like higher-end processors, higher refresh rates, and more. But as mentioned, for most people, this is the type of TV that’s really. going to deliver where it matters most, and not completely wipe out your budget in the process, relatively speaking.
