The KTC 25M2 Pro is an outstanding gaming monitor that is ideal for fast-paced gaming, especially eSports titles such as CS2, Valorant, etc. It features a 24.5″ fast IPS panel that has a 1080p resolution, a 400Hz refresh rate, and a 1ms response time. These specifications are precisely what you need to have a smooth gaming experience and ensure that you’re not at a disadvantage. This resolution is easy to power, but those who are looking for the best of the best will certainly be drawn to the 400Hz refresh rate.
It comes with shielding hoods for privacy and enhanced focus. If you’re on the big stage, your peripheral vision can catch something distracting you, and this will prevent that. Another element that we liked was the 126% sRGB coverage, meaning that with proper calibration, it can be used for creative purposes such as color grading, photo editing, and more. You might be wondering why there is no discount on the product page, but when you add it to your cart and head to checkout, a 15% discount will be applied, and it should be $271.99 instead of $319.99.
What we liked about the KTC 25M2 Pro
400Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time
This gaming monitor is built for competitive gaming, where smooth motion and quick reactions are essential weapons and can change the course of a match. The fast IPS supports a maximum 400Hz refresh rate, meaning it can update the frame up to 400 times per second, making fast camera movement, strafing enemies, and rapid actions appear smoother and hence easier to follow. The fast pixel response time also works to reduce motion blur and ghosting, ensuring that moving targets remain clear, allowing you to connect your shots.

1080p resolution is easy for GPUs to handle
The FHD resolution of this gaming monitor makes it a practical choice as it requires less graphics processing power compared to QHD and 4K. Since the GPU has to render fewer pixels, it can get done with a frame super quickly and churn out a high number of frames per second. This means that at FHD, you can easily see 400 FPS in titles like CS2, but that also depends on the in-game settings, the game itself, the game engine, and other aspects.
Shield hood for better focus
The shielding hood is a great feature of this gaming monitor as it can block distracting lights and movements from the sides, reduce reflections, and basically allows you to pour all your concentration into the match. This is especially useful for competitive players who have different settings such as brightness and colors, etc. So, your settings won’t distract your teammates, and neither would you be by theirs, given that all the monitors have shielding hoods.
126% sRGB coverage
The 126% sRGB color gamut volume makes it a tempting offering, as it’ll make games and other content more colorful and vibrant. However, it will also allow you to take on creative processes such as digital illustration, photo editing, color grading, and more. That being said, keep in mind that 126% doesn’t mean that it covers 126% of the color space, but rather the range of colors it can reproduce. Going over 100% can cause issues such as oversaturation, so we would recommend that you calibrate it properly before embarking on any creative task.
