This Skytech Rampage gaming PC is now down to its best price in 30 days over at Newegg, coming in at just $1,499, which is seriously good considering what it’s packing.

This PC features an RX 9070 XT 16GB graphics card, Ryzen 7 7700X processor, and 16GB of DDR5, making it a quality pick for 1440p and 4K gaming. The big win here is that this PC is both significantly less expensive than your typical RTX 5070 Ti prebuild and around the same price as a standard RTX 5070 gaming PC, but with 4GB more VRAM.

While it does only have 16GB of DDR5 and goes for a non-X3D processor, it’s still a punchy build for 1440p with solid 4K capabilities, which is now going for a very enticing price.

What we like about this Skytech Rampage gaming PC deal

A seriously good graphics card for 1440p and 4K for the price

It’s a worthy alternative to the RTX 5070 Ti, which boasts similar raw performance, 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM, improved ray tracing and AI capabilities, and is built on the latest RDNA 4 architecture. While the RTX 5070 Ti may have the edge overall, this graphics card is a much more affordable option in most cases, especially when paired with a non-X3D processor, as is the case here.

A very smart CPU pick that won’t blow your budget

You’ve got the impressive Ryzen 7 7700X processor here, which ticks all the boxes for gaming without breaking the bank. It’s an AM5 CPU, so you’ve got a decent level of future-proofing, and it has a 5.4Ghz boost clock and a large 32MB L3 cache that can facilitate high fps and low frame latency at the RX 9070 XT’s target QHD and 4K resolutions. It’s 8 cores and 16 threads, which are also not bad for multitasking and handling of some more demanding workflows, too.

Smaller amount of RAM, but it’s still top-tier

This is where you get some serious savings, as this build features 16GB of DDR5, instead of the more common 32GB. This is still a good amount to have if you’re looking for excellent gaming performance, and while it may not be optimal for, say, very large, asset-heavy AAA open-world games, it’s still going to help keep gameplay running smoothly and reduce microstuttering, without costing a fortune.

Simple, but stylish design with excellent cooling

The Skytech Rampage series actually looks pretty good from a design perspective, especially if you’re after something a little less flashy, but still with features associated wth more premium builds, like tempered glass panels and aRGB. It also has a powerful cooling solution, in the form of a 360mm AIO cooler with aRGB fans, to keep everything running at its best.

Should you go for this deal now?

Since it’s at its lowest price in 30 days, I’d say it’s worth going for if you’re interested, but the real win here is grabbing something with an RX 9070 XT for under $1,500, which is seriously good value considering what it brings to the table.

As for whether it’ll drop more in the near future, I’d say it’s incredibly unlikely, as this is really about as affordable as you can get for an RX 9070 XT build.

Things to consider

For improved gaming performance, I’d suggest going for either a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or a more expensive Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor, as they have triple the L3 cache size, and opting for 32GB of DDR5, too. Builds with these specs tend to come in around $2,000 to $2,300 in my experience, which is a big leap, but there are usually some excellent offers from manufacturers like Stormfront and Andromeda Insights that are well worth checking out.
