When you’re shopping for a gaming PC at or under $2,000, you don’t expect big discounts. But that doesn’t mean they don’t arise. And we’ve spotted a solid reduction on a Skytech system to note. It features the best of the two RTX 5060 Ti variants (16GB) and the excellent AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

The Skytech Gaming Azure 3 is a smart and stylish gaming PC with plenty of potential for up to 1440p gaming. And its recent price has been $2,000. However, Amazon has dropped the price by $100, pushing it down to a more likable $1,900. That’s not too shabby if you’re looking to venture into Socket AM5 with an X3D CPU by your side.

Why we like the Skytech Gaming Azure 3

Up to 1440p gaming

The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is ideal for fast Full HD 1080p gaming. But it will also handle 1440p in some games, with its ample VRAM allowing it to push further into 2K gaming. Plus, you get the benefit of Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture and the features it supports with DLSS. We rate the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB as the best graphics card for gaming on a lower budget, so it’s a decent pick.

X3D gaming performance

The Ryzen 7 7800X3D is a fantastic CPU for gaming. Now superseded by the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, it’s still a superstar and endowed with 3D V-cache technology. A massive L3 cache allows it to store more data for quick retrieval. That means faster performance and more frames in theory.

Solid specs

The headline pairing of GPU and CPU is good for gamers, but the backline is solid too. The Gaming Azure 3 looks well put together thanks to its Skytech Gaming Azure case, tidy ARGB fans, and AIO liquid cooler. And it offers 32GB of DDR5 6000 RAM, plus a decently sized 1TB NVMe SSD drive.

What to consider before you buy

We think this is a fine gaming system for anyone shifting to the Socket AM5 platform for gaming. However, it should be said that this system was cheaper as recently as April (at around $1,650). The recent price increase has skewed the value somewhat, but the $100 discount offered here does push it back in the right direction. If you need a new system right now, be sure to compare prices, but this looks like a fair pick.
