MSI Gaming Desktop PC Aegis Z2, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
This particular build features an RTX 5070 Ti, which is a quality card for 1440p and 4K, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 2TB SSD, and an MSI RGB air cooling system. Its CPU is more of an entry-level AM5 option, in the form of the Ryzen 7 8700F. It’s a decent, cost-effective processor to start with, but higher L3 cache models will suit the RTX 5070 Ti better later down the line in our view.
MSI’s Aegis Z2 lineup stands out from the crowd, as they’re super sleek, use standardized parts for easy upgrading, and are filled with higher-end MSI components. This typically gives them a more premium price point, so they can be slightly higher than your typical prebuilt, making its current $2,249.00 price tag a solid win.

What we like about this MSI Aegis Z2 RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC
Upgrade-friendly with standardized components
The MSI Aegis Z2 lineup is great if you’re looking to swap out and upgrade components in the future, and since this build has an AM5-ready motherboard, you’ve got a good foundation to move up to more powerful Ryzen processors without having to swap it out entirely.
RTX 5070 Ti is a winner for 1440p and 4K gaming
With 16GB of GDDR7, 4th-gen ray tracing cores, and punchy raw performance, the RTX 5070 Ti is one of the best graphics cards you can get for 1440p gaming at ultra settings, and it boasts solid 4K capabilities, too, especially when using DLSS 4.5 and MFG. It’s also superior to the RTX 5070 for more demanding creative workflows, like working in 3D and 4K video editing, making it a great pick for serious creatives not wanting to shell out on an RTX 5080.
Its Ryzen 7 8700F processor makes for an entry point to AM5
This CPU features 8 cores, 16 threads, a boost clock of 5GHz, and 16MB L3 cache, so it’s not a perfect pairing with the RTX 5070 Ti from a performance perspective, but it should still do the job. The good thing here is that it’s on the AM5 platform, so upgrading is easy when the time is right. This CPU should still be adequate for 1440p gaming, but something with a larger L3 cache would be your best bet to get the most out of the RTX 5070 Ti.
32GB of DDR5 helps improve gaming and multitasking performance
You’re going to be getting less mirostuttering in-game and snapper multitasking with this amount of RAM. Not only that, but if you’re working in apps like Blender and Premiere Pro, especially on large projects, edits will be much faster, too.
2TB of storage is more than enough for large gaming libraries
With large AA games easily tipping the scale at over 100GB, 2TB is fast becoming the standard for most people nowadays, and provides ample room for extensive game collections.
Who should get this MSIAegis Z2 RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC?
This would be a good PC for someone looking for MSI-standard build quality, that’s easy to upgrade, looks great, and offers excellent 1440p and 4K performance, with the latest Blackwell features. Of course, the only downside here is the CPU, which I’d say would be better switched with something like a Ryzen 7 9800X3D in the future. For the price, though, at well under $2,300 for an MSI build, it’s not bad at all.
