Standout features of this Acer Predator 27-inch QD-OLED monitor
QD-OLED panel
Excellent for contrast, and able to produce incredibly deep blacks for a truly cinematic and atmospheric sheen to whatever you’re playing or watching.
27-inch and 4K
A good configuration if you’re looking for 4K, OLED picture quality, but without the expense of shelling out for a larger 32-inch screen. It’s also better for pure gaming usage in some senses, and for those who may not want multiple windows open at the same time, or need the extra space for various productivity and creativity tasks.

FreeSync Premum Pro
Brilliant for improving overall smoothness and reducing screen tearing and stutter. Notably, this top tier is designed to improve HDR gaming performance and features FreeSync Premium’s low frame rate compensation, too.
240Hz refresh rate and 0.03ms response time
Very strong for high FPS gaming, and pretty much as good as it gets for a 4K monitor. This is going to give you plenty of headroom for competitive and super fast-paced gaming, and with its low response time, you shouldn’t run into too much ghosting either.
USB-C with 65W PD
This is excellent if you want to connect a laptop to the monitor for display, and have it charge at he same time via a single USB-C cable. It keeps your setup looking super clean, but also lends itself well to hybrid creator laptop and gaming PC setups, too.
99% DCI-P3 with Delta E<2 accuracy
Especially good for video editing and those working in film, who need to make color-critical edits and want to do so with confidence.

Should you go for this monitor?
It’s as cheap as I’ve seen it, and I’ve had my eye on this monitor for a while and haven’t ever seen a great deal of movement until fairly recently. I’d say it’s a pretty solid pick for the price, if you’re going for performance over, say, a sort of Cyberpunk aesthetic of ASUS ROG or ultra-high-end, tasteful RGB, streamlined Samsung Odyssey offerings. Go for it if you want OLED, 4K and a top-end refresh rate, but still want to keep costs relatively low.
