Here are the brand new iPhone 15 colors explained.

During its Wonderlust event on 12 September 2023, Apple revealed its next lineup to debut in the iPhone series, the iPhone 15. As with every new phone launch, people are always eager to find out what colors, shades, and textures the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro models will be available in before they get their hands on it.

Apple users are often fans of color-matching their Apple devices, but recent years have seen iPhones get varied color options than the classic space gray or gold. With pre-orders just days away, here are the new iPhone 15 colors explained in detail.

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus Colors

Both the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be available in 5 different colors: pink, blue, green, yellow, and black. However, these are not standard colors; they come in an industry-first color-infused back glass and a matte finish. This gives the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus a luxurious and overall stunning look.

Apple says it is the first time color is infused throughout a phone’s back glass. The saturation of the back glass with dual-ion allows for inducing colors in the glass, resulting in this new range of iPhone 15 colors.

iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max Colors

The Pro and Pro Max models have a new range of colors, as well as a strong yet lightweight titanium frame replacing the stainless steel featured on the older iPhone lineup. This material change is showcased in a series of new colors.

While the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus have light colors, the Pro models come in sophisticated darker hues with a matte finish. There will be four textured colors available: black titanium, blue titanium, white titanium, and natural titanium.

The 15 Pro sees the iPhone designs getting a further refresh through the addition of a customizable Action button replacing the mute switch. However, this is not the only change: all iPhone 15 models will now feature USB-C ports. Which iPhone 15 color is best?

Ultimately, which iPhone color is best is down to personal preference. All iPhone 15 shades are unique because they are infused with back glass, which makes them special. You can pick any iPhone 15 color that not only goes well with your skin tone but pairs well with your other Apple devices. However, part of what makes these iPhones unique is that they are better for the environment, using more recycled material than any other iPhone in a move by the tech giant to eventually become carbon neutral.

Will the iPhone 15 still use the lightning cable?

iPhone 15 has now made the transition to the use of the USB-C and complies with the European Union regulation passed in 2022 to reduce e-waste. Apple is also introducing USB-C to AirPods Pro 2, allowing consumers to use a single cable across all its devices.

Conclusion

These are the colors currently available in iPhone 15 launched at the Apple event. We’ve got a stunning array of pastel colors encased in glass for the 15 model, with the 15 Pro getting a brand new titanium frame in darker hues. However, there is still a slim chance that we might see a new addition to the list, if we’re going off what happened with the iPhone 14. For example, Apple released the iPhone 14 with only five colors, but proceeded to add a new color, pastel yellow, to the collection later.
