AMD Radeon GPU prices expected to jump as much as over $100 at the end of the year, says leak
AMD Radeon graphics cards have already been rumored to be getting more expensive, and a new report claims that the company has already announced new MSRPs for several GPUs in China. The changes are expected to apply during the fourth quarter of 2026, and some models are reportedly going up by more than $100, based on current exchange rates.
Following the rumors, price changes for AMD’s partners and retailers have now been shared on the Chinese-language Board Channels forums. While the figures currently apply to China, the report also claims that international partners have been informed about pricing adjustments. AMD hasn’t publicly confirmed the changes yet, so it remains unclear whether buyers in other regions will see similar increases.
How much will AMD Radeon GPU prices rise?

Interestingly, the more powerful RX 9070 XT is reportedly staying at 6,999 yuan, or roughly $1,044. This means there is now only around $105 separating the RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT based on the new suggested prices. If retailers closely follow these figures, the smaller difference could make the RX 9070 XT look like a much better option for buyers already considering the standard model.
Aside from that, the RX 9060 XT 16GB is reportedly increasing by 600 yuan, or around $89, bringing its suggested price to 4,899 yuan. The 8GB version gets a smaller 300 yuan increase, equivalent to around $45, for a new suggested price of 3,390 yuan. AMD’s RX 9070 GRE is also reportedly moving up by 400 yuan to 4,999 yuan, while the older RX 7650 GRE receives the same 400 yuan increase and moves to 2,999 yuan.
The increases are said to be connected to rising memory and manufacturing costs, which continue to put pressure on graphics card pricing. VRAM is an especially important factor for modern GPUs, and cards equipped with larger amounts of memory can be more exposed to increases in memory costs.
