We’re just over a month away from the GTA 6 release date, and Rockstar Games is pushing more official news regarding the game’s music – more specifically, radio stations, their respective hosts, and a handful of songs. A few weeks ago, Rockstar unveiled pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, with physical vinyl and CD versions, consisting of six debut singles from popular real-world artists.

It turns out real-world figures will also be DJing across the game’s variety of radio stations. Rockstar has unveiled that the likes of Bad Bunny (who headlined the Super Bowl earlier this year), Lana Del Rey, Burna Boy, and more will be featured in the game, the majority with in-game stage names. For the metalheads out there, Slayer’s Kerry King and Tom Araya are also involved.

Grand Theft Auto VI introduces a series of on-demand podcasts for Jason and Lucia to experience beyond Leonida’s terrestrial radio, with both radio and podcasts available to listen to in vehicles and on foot through newly introduced headphones and earbuds connected to their smartphones.

So, that’s the official line-up so far, but we can only expect much more to come. For comparison, both GTA 5 and GTA 4 originally launched with 18 radio stations, so this could be just a third of what’s to come when the game launches on November 19. Fans can preview the announced stations on the Rockstar Games website.

With this new official reveal, it has been a busy end of the week for Grand Theft Auto VI news, after a now-notorious leaker published nearly 25 minutes of footage yesterday. Speaking of leaks, footage shared online back in September also revealed the names of various radio stations (including some not currently made official by Rockstar) to cover other genres, such as Classical.
