In a similar vein to getting the Ryzen 9 9950X Blender scores, we are now also getting the laptop benchmarks leaking out. The next-gen mobile processors are also coming at a similar time, with ASUS confirming the launch dates for the laptops to be coming at the end of July and quite close to the Ryzen 9000 series release date. Now it’s one of their laptops that comes in this Geekbench score thanks to 9550pro on X.
The processor features in the ProArt P16 a desktop replacement laptop instead of a gaming laptop so it’s more focused on power in processing. In the Geekbench benchmarks it achieved a single-core score of 2879, and a multi-core of 14,888. Previously the Zenbook S16 from ASUS was up there with a score around 40, and 120 points lower respectively. In its spec, it suggests it can run up to 70W so it could be running more than the other options too.
Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and ProArt P16 specs
The processor comes with a 12-core, 24-thread (4 + 8 clusters) setup running a base frequency of 2 GHz but boosted up to 5.1GHz. It also has an L1 instruction cache of 32KB x 12, L1 data of 48KB x 12, L2 of 1MB x 12, and an L3 cache of 16 MB. That comes with up to 81 TOPs and a focus on AI as everything and so has neuural processing of XDNA up to 50 TOPs.
As for the rest of the laptop, there is an RTX 4070 laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR6 while the processor comes with Radeon 890M onboard graphics too. There was also 32GB of DDR5 RAM on board running 1,866MT/s (3,700MHz) across four channels. The laptop also comes with a top-end screen for the work that’s expected to be done with it, so if you’re looking for a top pick, you might not have to be waiting that much longer.
