BenQ has just unveiled its PV3250U and PV2750U professional monitors, “engineered for precise colour accuracy and post-production workflows”. They belong to the new Creative Pro PV50 series, and while both feature professional-level IPS panels with a 4K resolution, the key difference is screen size. As the names suggest, these are 32-inch and 27-inch models, respectively.

While we’re still waiting for a full list of specs and pricing for the PV2750U, BenQ already has its PV3250U product page ready to go. Press release

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, AUGUST 25th 2026 – BenQ, the internationally recognised provider of professional display solutions, today announced the availability of its new Creative Pro PV50 Series professional monitors, comprising the 4K 32-inch PV3250U and 27-inch PV2750U. Designed for video editors and post-production professionals, the new monitors deliver precise and reliable colour grading for post-production workflows, enabling predictable and consistent results across advertising, short-form films, branded content, and social media campaign material.

Meeting the Growing Demands of Professional Post-Production

In commercial post-production, achieving consistent and reliable colour decisions remains a key challenge, especially in dark scenes where subtle shadow details are essential to visual storytelling. While industry standards such as Rec.709 define the colour space, maintaining accurate shadow detail across different displays and delivery environments is often difficult. Issues such as black crush and tonal inconsistencies can lead to grading errors, additional correction time, and unpredictable final outputs.

Built for Colour Confidence Throughout the Entire Workflow

Unlike conventional professional monitors that focus primarily on colour gamut and calibration, the PV50 Series is engineered to offer a dependable foundation for grading and evaluation from accurate shadow rendering to long-term colour stability.

  • Dark-Tone Clarity preserves shadow details, allowing professionals to make reliable grading decisions in Rec.709 workflows. Powered by AQCOLOR Technology, the PV50 is optimised for Rec.709 workflows and tuned to a gamma 2.4 curve for reliable dark-tone reproduction without black crush or tonal shifts. Paired with a 3000:1 contrast ratio IPS panel, it reveals shadow details with predictability.
  • Corner-to-Corner Uniformity ensures that colour and brightness remain consistent across the entire screen, including the outer edges often overlooked by conventional calibration processes, and minimising misjudgment during the critical evaluation.
  • 16-bit 3D LUT Hardware Calibration maintains accurate colour across the full tonal range, with profiles stored directly in the display for consistent performance regardless of system changes.

Building on these display innovations, the PV50 Series further streamlines post-production workflows with integrated tools including Shadow Check for inspecting low-luminance detail, Marker for previewing with multiple aspect ratios and cropping guides, and Area Zoom for magnifying selected regions without affecting source content.

Accelerate Your Creative Workflow

The Magnetic Shading Hood snaps on instantly to eliminate ambient glare for accurate shadow judgement. The Hotkey Puck provides one-click access to your essential colour modes and preview tools, accelerating your grading process. Connected via a single Thunderbolt 4 cable, delivering video, data, and 96W power to your Mac, creating the ultimate clutter-free workspace.

Availability and launch timing may vary by region. Please visit your local BenQ website for more information.
