Another GeForce Now Thursday has arrived, which means a new set of updates for Nvidia’s popular cloud gaming service. This week, the headline act is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which has already been available in early access for pre-order customers in limited capacity (namely the campaign and extraction-style DMZ game mode), but the full game releases tomorrow, October 23.

GeForce Now members will be able to play MW4 on GFN as soon as it releases, with support for RTX 5080-class servers for those with an Ultimate subscription. Along with the latest Call of Duty entry, five other games join the service this week, including Final Fantasy Resonance. And new games aside, Nvidia now sells subscriptions directly through Amazon for those with a compatible Fire TV Stick.

What’s new on Nvidia GeForce Now this week?

As part of this week’s GeForce NOW Thursday additions, NVIDIA’s cloud members can respond to the call to duty. The latest addition to the iconic franchise launches tomorrow and will be available for GeForce NOW members immediately alongside the 5 other new games joining the service, including FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE. Plus, Amazon Fire Stick users can now purchase memberships to the cloud service straight from their sofa directly through their device through Amazon.

Nvidia PR

Nvidia launched a native GeForce Now app for Amazon Fire TV sticks earlier this year, available on first- and second-gen 4K models. It’s not currently supported by the built-in FireOS on Amazon-branded TVs, just the standalone sticks. In any case, fire stick users will now be able to purchase one month of GFN Performance or Ultimate subscription directly through Amazon.

  • We Were Here Tomorrow (New release on Steam, Oct. 20)
  • FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE (New release on Steam, Oct. 22)
  • CONTROL Resonant (Epic Games Store)
  • Crimson Desert (Epic Games Store)
  • Planet Zoo 2 (Xbox app, supports Xbox Play Anywhere)

As you can see above, there are six games in total joining GeForce Now this week. Keep in mind that titles such as Control Resonant were previously available for streaming, but only if you owned a Steam copy. This week, Nvidia is extending support to the Epic Games Store version.
