TV deals this June are looking especially strong across OLED, QD-OLED, QLED, and also the more budget-panel 4K sets. With summer sports heating up and streaming services pushing new content, now’s a great time to upgrade your living room or gaming setup. Whether you want a premium OLED display, the best Mini-LED TV for your money, or a reliable mid-range model, there are great discounts available.

TV makers often start clearing out current stock in mid-year sales to make room for newer models that typically arrive in late summer or early autumn. That makes this a perfect opportunity to grab last year’s high-end sets at a much better price – often with the same panels and processors as the latest generation.

Enough yapping – let’s get stuck into the best TV deals available this month.

What size TV is best for my room?

It depends on your viewing distance. A 55-inch TV is a versatile choice for most living rooms or bedrooms. If you sit further away or want a more immersive experience, a 65 or 75-inch TV screen may be better – just make sure your space can accommodate it. Use the general rule: the ideal distance is about 1.5 times the screen’s diagonal measurement for 4K content.

For smaller rooms or secondary spaces like kitchens, a 43 or 50-inch model can work well.

What’s the difference between OLED, QLED, and LED TVs?

OLED TVs offer the best contrast, with true blacks and vivid colors, since each pixel emits its own light. QLEDs (Quantum Dot LED) enhance brightness and color using a layer of quantum dots, and are typically more affordable than OLEDs. Standard LED TVs use backlighting and are best for budget-conscious buyers but may struggle with contrast and uniformity.

In short: OLED for premium quality, QLED for an upper mid-range option, and LED for affordability.

Are smart TVs worth it?

Absolutely. Most TVs today are smart TVs, meaning they have built-in apps for streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+. They also often support voice assistants, screen mirroring, and regular firmware updates.

Just make sure the operating system is one you like – some brands use Roku, Android TV, Google TV, or proprietary systems like LG’s webOS or Samsung’s Tizen. All major platforms now support 4K HDR streaming and a wide app selection.
