According to some Game Pass users, Blizzard Entertainment has been sending out 1-month PC Game Pass trial codes. As per users on Reddit, only new accounts can redeem the codes. This means users who have had a Game Pass before won’t be able to use the trial codes. Further, the offer is valid until July 24th, which gives people a week to use it.

Interestingly, the expiry date of these trial codes coincides with the release of the new season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. In case you’re not aware, there have been speculations that Modern Warfare III will be added to the subscription service, and fans have been looking forward to it.

Users hope that more Blizzard Games will be added to the PC Game Pass

Some Reddit users are hoping that World of Warcraft will be made available through the game pass. Or at least the WoW subscription gets bundled with the Xbox Game Pass with a discount.

Another Reddit user pointed out that Diablo 4 has an expansion, Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, scheduled for later this year. So, adding games like Diablo 4 is a good way of attracting more players before the expansion is launched. In fact, it was one of the first games to be added to the Xbox Game Pass, so it is likely that Blizzard will follow this trend in the future.

In addition to this, users are guessing that the Game Pass might include some remakes or remasters for PC, like Diablo 2 and Diablo 3, as well as Starcraft 1 and 2. It should be noted that the trial codes were sent by Blizzard, so they may or may not include Activision titles.

In any case, the latest move by Blizzard has fuelled online speculations that a lot of titles might be making their way into the subscription service. Considering that the Game Pass costs are being upped to $19.99 for the Ultimate tier and $11.99 for the PC tier, the addition of new games might help justify the cost.  In addition to this, the console tier will not be available to new users. Instead, a new Standard tier, which comes with a price tag of $14.99, will be rolled out.
