Capcom has issued an important warning for Monster Hunter players as Microsoft prepares to end support for Windows 10. Microsoft officially confirmed that Windows 10 support will end on October 14, 2025. After that date, the operating system will no longer receive critical security updates or stability fixes. This means PCs running Windows 10 could become more vulnerable to security risks, and compatibility with new software may become a problem over time.

Now, Capcom is alerting players of some of its biggest games, including Monster Hunter: World, Monster Hunter Rise, and Monster Hunter Wilds, about what this change could mean. In a new Steam announcement, the company explained that once Microsoft ends support for Windows 10, it can no longer guarantee that these games will continue to run smoothly on the older operating system.

Capcom says that while Monster Hunter: World, Rise, and Wilds may still run on Windows 10 after October 14, there’s no promise they will stay compatible.
