Cooler Master’s new power supply has enough power to support two RTX 4090s at once

Ensuring your power supply has enough wattage to support your components is an essential part of any PC build, but a 2000W PSU is going to be overkill for most of you. In any case, the new Cooler Master X Mighty Platinum 2000W power supply has just launched and is currently available in select regions including China, South Korea, and Australia.
Even if you’re using the most powerful consumer graphics card on the market and need the best PSU for the RTX 4090, 1000W is plenty enough; Nvidia suggests at least 800W, but third-party manufacturers may ask for more.
Cooler Master launches X Mighty Platinum 2000W 230V
The new Cooler Master X Mighty Platinum 2000W 230V power supply is now available to view via a product page on the brand’s official website. With this amount of wattage, it is designed for high-end builds and can facilitate a dual graphics card setup with the two 12V-2×6 power connector ports. These connectors support Nvidia’s high-end GPUs such as the flagship RTX 4090, replacing the prior 12VHPWR cable which you may remember faced backlash due to melting issues.
