The XPS laptop lineup is known for its excellent performance, high-quality build, and stunning displays. However, this also translates to a higher price tag, as such laptops tend to be expensive. While good deals on XPS laptops occasionally pop up, not everyone gets the chance to grab them. But now, Dell has decided to slash the prices of two of its popular models, and according to some reports, this price reduction is permanent.
What are the new prices?
The two laptops which are now listed at a discounted price are the XPS 14 and XPS 16. Both models are well known for their thin and light design, which makes them highly portable. However, even though they may feature a thin profile, they still pack a punch when it comes to performance.
The Dell XPS 14 was previously listed with a price tag of $2,699. However, thanks to the price reduction, you can now get it for $2,499, which is $200 less than the original price. The model you get at this price comes with a stunning 14.5-inch 3.2K OLED display, Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, RTX 4050 6GB GPU, 32GB LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB M.2 SSD. You can also opt for the base model with the Intel Arc graphics, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD. This one is listed for $1,799, and it’s a great choice for those who don’t want to cross the two-grand mark.
On the other hand, the Dell XPS 16 boasts a 16.3-inch OLED UHD+ display paired with the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, RTX 4070 8GB GPU, 32GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 1TB M.2 SSD, and it is listed for $3,199. Again, this is $200 less than the original price of $3,399. Of course, you can take this price down further by choosing other components, such as the RTX 4050/4060 or the Intel Arc graphics, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD.
What’s special about the Intel Core Ultra processors?
It is important to remember that both laptops feature the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor, which comes with AI Boost technology. For those who don’t know, such processors have a dedicated section that focuses only on AI tasks. And when you use an AI software or tool, this technology kicks in to boost performance, ultimately improving your productivity. So, if you’re someone who uses AI tools or software daily, then this will benefit you greatly.
