Considering the game is still at full price (albeit down from its original $69.99), it’s somewhat of a surprise to see it making strides among Steam Deck players. In the past month, Diablo 4 ranked as the 18th most-played game on the Steam Deck. However, with the release of Season 5 on August 6th, the game’s popularity has increased. It currently holds the 5th spot on the Steam Deck Top Played charts, right above Grand Theft Auto V and behind indie hit Balatro.

The latest season pass, which is filled with rewards, has given players a new reason to dive deep into the game and explore all it has to offer. The new season has significantly increased the game’s player count. According to SteamDB, the average daily player count of Diablo 4 was between 8,000 to 5,000 before August 6. However, after the new season, it has jumped to around 30,000.
