DJI has officially introduced its new lineup of lightweight drones, the Lito 1 and Lito X1. These drones were leaked this time last week during the Osmo Pocket 4 launch, revealing pricing details, so we already knew what to expect. The company has finally revealed everything in full, confirming specs, features, and pricing – now available from DJI UK, DJI EU, and DJI AU.

The new Lito series is aimed mainly at beginners and casual creators. DJI is clearly trying to make aerial photography more accessible, especially for users who don’t want to spend a lot on high-end drones. Both models are lightweight, coming in at around 249g, which makes them easier to carry and use without too many restrictions in most regions.

Both drones come with smart features designed to make things easier. These include automatic tracking, pre-built cinematic shots, and fast file transfers using Wi-Fi 6. The idea is simple: even if you’re new to drones, you should be able to capture good footage without much effort.

The DJI Lito 1 is the more affordable option. It comes with a 1/2-inch 48MP camera sensor and can shoot 4K video. Despite being the entry-level model, it still includes features like omnidirectional obstacle sensing, ActiveTrack subject tracking, and smart shooting modes like QuickShots and Panorama. It also offers up to 36 minutes of flight time, which is solid for a drone in this category.

The Lito X1 sits above it and brings a more advanced setup. It uses a larger 1/1.3-inch 48MP sensor with a wider aperture, allowing better image quality, especially in low light. It also supports HDR video with higher dynamic range and includes 10-bit color for more detailed footage. One standout feature is the addition of forward-facing LiDAR, which improves obstacle detection and makes flying safer in complex environments. It also includes 42GB of internal storage, which is useful for those who don’t want to rely only on memory cards.

How much do they cost?

In terms of price, the Lito 1 starts at €339, while the Lito X1 starts at €419 in Europe. We can see on the UK storefront (DJI Lito 1 and DJI Lito X1) that they retail starting at £299 and £369, respectively. There are also Fly More Combo options that include extra accessories like batteries and controllers. For example, the Lito X1 with Fly More Combo Plus (DJI RC 2) will cost you £669 in total.

One important detail is that these drones won’t be available in the United States for now. DJI has confirmed that this is due to ongoing regulatory issues, which means buyers in some regions may have to wait longer.
