Fans of Grand Theft Auto seem to believe that Rockstar is incredibly close to releasing its third main trailer for GTA 6. It has been just over a year since trailer 2 dropped, and it’s definitely about time a new trailer came along. We’re sure that fans of the franchise will keep themselves busy analyzing every single frame, and a rumor says pre-orders may arrive as soon as May 12.
Nothing is confirmed, but Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick did claim that GTA 6 marketing will kick off “soon” in a recent interview. That’s pretty much the only official word we have on the matter right now, and it doesn’t give much away at all. At the very least, it’s an indication that Take-Two plans to ramp up its marketing efforts well in advance of the November 19 launch.
Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer 3 might arrive with pre-orders this week
According to a rumor posted on social media, GTA 6 pre-orders could go live on May 12, priced at £69.99 in the UK. If this part holds any truth, then it’s easy to imagine that the third trailer will arrive at the same time. Interestingly, Take-Two Interactive will be holding an earnings call on May 21, so fans are convinced that pre-orders should be arranged ahead of that date.

Another clue appeared last week, when a user shared a mysterious message from a Game Informer email newsletter, claiming that [REDACTED] will be on the front cover of its magazine next week (meaning this week) – yet another suggestion that Grand Theft Auto 6 coverage may be about to ramp up.
We recently learned that Rockstar has enjoyed practically “unlimited” resources to get GTA 6 up to as high a standard as possible, and it’s no secret that this is probably the biggest video game launch of all time. At the very least, it’s one of the most anticipated of the decade. GTA 5 was heavily marketed months in advance of its release, and we don’t expect GTA 6 to be any different.
