Google Pixel Watch 3 specs – 2 sizes and an improved display
It has been a while since some pictures leaked online, showing that smartwatch features thinner bezels, giving more room for the display. The 41mm model will have 10% more space, while the larger variant will sport an extra 40% screen. The Pixel Watch 3 is the first to have an Actua display that takes up the brightness levels to 2,000 nits from 1,000 nits. Further, the Watch 3 has a refresh rate of 60hz and is power efficient as it can drop “all the way down to just 1Hz” according to Google.
On the inside, the Pixel Watch 3 will be embedded with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 5100 chipset as the Pixel Watch 2. As per the same report on Android Headlines, the new smartwatch will also have 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC flash storage. The battery life is 24 hours with always-on display enabled, but can reach as high as 36 hours in Battery Saver mode. You can take a closer look at the full list of specs on the Google store.
Finally, as far as appearances are concerned, the watch will be available in new colors. That goes for both the case and the band color. The device is available in the following cases: Champagne Gold, Matte Black, and Polished Silver. Band colors vary slightly depending on the model size but include: Hazel, Obsidian, Porcelain, Rose, and Rose Quartz.
